Technology services for every stage of your device
From choosing a new or used device to maintenance and refurbishment. We discuss your needs and explain the service and its cost before work starts.
New and used devices
New and used laptops, computers and phones, with clear information about condition and specifications to help you choose the right device.

Laptops and desktop computers
Assessment of startup, charging, display, storage and memory issues, with compatibility checks before repair or upgrades.
Phones and tablets
Assessment of screens, batteries, charging and core functions. Available work depends on the model, its condition and parts availability.
Printers and printing supplies
Checks for print quality, paper handling, connectivity and drivers; ink or toner selected for the actual printer and cartridge model.
PlayStation and gaming devices
Assessment of cooling, dust, startup and connection issues. Cleaning scope and thermal materials depend on the particular model.
Networking and IT equipment
Diagnosis of connectivity, configuration and compatibility, starting with the equipment and symptoms before recommending repair or replacement.
A clear route from intake to handover
This is the workflow we discuss to organise your service request. Assessment, work, parts and timing depend on the condition of your device.
Record the device and symptoms
Identify the model, accessories, visible condition, your request and any restrictions concerning data.
Find the likely cause
Check relevant functions to distinguish a fault from configuration, compatibility or usage issues.
Explain options and cost
Discuss the proposed work and parts, and whether repair, an upgrade or replacement is the sensible option.
Agree before proceeding
Confirm the scope; important changes and actions affecting data are discussed before work begins.
Complete and test the work
Carry out the agreed service and recheck the reported symptoms and relevant functions.
Explain the result
Describe the completed work, remaining observations and suitable care and usage advice.
What does device care involve?

Diagnose before replacing parts
We begin with the symptoms, model and circumstances, then check the relevant functions. The cause may involve hardware, software, settings or compatibility. Understanding the issue comes before recommending a repair or upgrade; options, parts and cost are discussed before you approve the work.

Cleaning and cooling-system care
Airflow, fans and cooling components are assessed to determine suitable cleaning for the model and condition. Thermal material is evaluated when needed: paste, pads and other materials are not interchangeable. After the agreed work, cooling behaviour and symptoms are checked without promising a fixed performance improvement.

Refurbishment, upgrades and functional testing
Refurbishment goes beyond appearance: checking functions, cleaning, replacing agreed parts or upgrading memory and storage when compatible and worthwhile. We explain condition, known faults and accessories, and recheck the functions related to the work before handover.

Clear decisions and costs
Explain the cause, options, scope and cost before work starts, rather than deciding from a general fault description.
Respect for your data and choices
Discuss actions affecting the operating system or storage before proceeding. A repair request is not an instruction to erase data.
Longer use when repair makes sense
Compare repair, upgrades and replacement against condition, compatibility and your needs, avoiding unnecessary changes.
A result you can understand
Check the relevant functions and explain completed work, remaining observations and suitable care after handover.
Useful information for your next decision
Cleaning and thermal paste: when does your device need them?
Dust can restrict airflow in a laptop, desktop or gaming console, but heat also depends on fan condition, cooling hardware, software workload and settings. Assessment starts with the symptoms and cooling behaviour during normal use. A louder fan while gaming is not by itself evidence of a fault; repeated shutdowns or unusual mechanical noise warrant closer investigation.
The work should match the model: suitable cleaning, cooling checks and assessment of thermal material where necessary. Replacing paste is not an automatic requirement, and different devices use different materials. The goal is to address the cause and test the result. Avoid improvised liquids or opening unfamiliar equipment; cleaning does not promise a fixed performance improvement or solve every overheating problem.
Repair, upgrade or replace?
A slow computer is not always beyond useful life. Storage, memory, software or cooling may be responsible, and a targeted repair or compatible upgrade may be sufficient. Describe what you need: study, office work, creative applications or gaming. Diagnosis helps establish whether the device can meet that need after the proposed work and which components can actually be upgraded.
Compare the cost of parts and labour with the condition of the battery, screen and other components, parts availability and required software support. Repair may be sensible for a suitable device; replacement may be better when faults or requirements accumulate. There is no universal percentage rule. Ask for the problem and alternatives to be explained, and agree a data plan before any storage replacement or transfer.
New, used or refurbished: what should you check?
The right choice depends on your budget and intended use. Refurbishment generally involves checking and preparing a previously used device, with repairs where needed, but the scope varies between providers. Ask what was done to the actual item. The word refurbished does not automatically mean manufacturer certification. A cosmetic grade may describe scratches and appearance without explaining battery condition or every function.
Check the actual configuration, display, keyboard, ports, storage, battery, charger and included accessories. Read the description of known defects and the stated warranty and returns conditions. Check the operating system and licence if they are included; do not assume a particular version. A good purchase combines clear condition information, a suitable price and realistic requirements, with direct answers before ordering.
Questions before requesting a service
How is the repair price determined?
It depends on the model, fault, parts and work required. Options and expected cost are discussed after assessment, before approval. Any applicable diagnosis or service fees should be explained; do not assume assessment is free or identical devices always cost the same.
Does a repair request authorise erasing my files?
A repair request is not automatic permission to erase data. Work that could affect storage or the operating system belongs in the agreed scope. Backup, erasure and ITAD are separate services, so the required outcome should be clear before proceeding.
What should I do about data and passwords?
Back up where possible and explain what needs to be retained. Do not send account passwords or verification codes through the shop form or chat. If diagnosis requires access, discuss a limited method and enter credentials yourself when possible.
Do printer or network problems require replacement?
Drivers, settings, connectivity, paper or printing supplies may be responsible. Provide the model, symptoms, error message or a print sample if available. This helps identify what needs investigation before a replacement component or device is proposed.
How long will the service take?
Timing depends on diagnosis, parts availability, fault complexity and approval of the work. An estimate is discussed once the condition is known and updated if circumstances change. There is no single deadline for every device; final checks also take time.
